No matter whether these exams are you first, or your last, its stressful. Trying to juggle all the challenges that come with exams can be stressful; so, we’ve complied 5 tips you can follow to help relieve some stress.

1. Start with plenty of time.

Theres nothing worse than trying to cram the content for the exams the night before. That’s why it’s best to start your revision with plenty of time. We recommend starting around 2 months before your exams, to allow for productive, spaced revision.

2. Allow yourself plenty of breaks

Revision is most productive when done in small chunks. We recommend 45 minutes work with a 15-minute break.

3, Put the phone away

Phones are distracting. The constant notifications with completely devoid your focus. Try putting it in a different room to remove this distraction.

4, Try lots of different revision techniques.

Revision is extremely personal. In order to discover what works for you make sure to try lots of different techniques. We suggest things such as Quizlet, practice papers, and active recall for example.

5. Set realistic goals

No-one is able to work productively for 12 hours straight. We suggest setting realistic, content based not time-based goals. Instead of aiming to revise for 3 hours, instead aim to revise a certain topic. These goals are easier to meet, and produce more productive revision.
